No they don't. It was privately funded I do believe.

Is that where W&J are gonna go?

EDIT* Just read the article and they'll be there when their non-compete clause runs out.

I'm so happy that a station like this is back. I love both the classic rock stuff (The Who, Zeppelin, Stones, Hendrix) but I dig the new stuff, too. They are really playing a good mix. About friggin' time!!!!

It's funny, I seriously started looking into XM radio, and, while this new station hasn't stopped that, at least I can still listen to local radio.

It's great how the tower is apparently in La Porte (east side of Houston, so a lot closer to Beaumont) instead of way far into Houston like 101's tower must be; I was amazed at how great the reception is here compared to 101 which comes and goes a lot.

Yeah, but us guys in west houston (katy) barely get any reception, which sucks . Luckily it comes in ok in my car when I'm driving the right direction, and I've definately been enjoying it when I can. I noticed they're playing alot of Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, and Pink Floyd; it's been freaking nice .

Yeah, someone always ends up losing out. Maybe they could just upgrade the signal power and make everyone happy!
