my dog killed one of those, it was quite funny, the dog wanted to play and the possum kept trying to attack, so the dog saw to it, that it was not gonna attack anymore.
then 3 days later she killed another one.

damn! there was one running across the quad at school the other day, broad *** daylight in the middle of the campus. some guy seemed to be chasing it, not quite sure what he planned on doing once he caught it though 
i killed one when i lived in the sticks that was HUGE! it had to be 18" tall at the back. we had one of those buried wire fences where my dog wore a shock collar, and one night he started barking like crazy. i go outside and find a huge possom standing ontop of the wire, and the dog couldnt get any closer or he'd get shocked. the opossom's mouth was open so wide you could have put in a 12oz can straight up and down, and not hit a tooth, and it was making this pissed off hissing sound. it was like a standoff between my lab and the opossom, mom held the spotlight and i took care of it with this....the street sweeper!

I hit one in my Ta on my right front bumper...the MF-er bounced off about 3 feet away and ran off like WTF just happened!?!? At least I didn't kill it though.

I heard that if you kill one, two will come after you
