Ford GT...
Did anyone happen to see the new MM&FF. They tested a Ford GT with a smaller pulley on stock Goodyears and then DR's. It went 11.07 @ 132 on stock tires then a 10.92 @ 128-9 on DR's!
Not too bad for a $20 pulley swap.

Anyhow, good to see you on the site.
As for the GT wait till Curtis gets his hands on one. It'd be like his Cobra. $ miles on the odo and already a full bolt-on car...

Chris, what are you hearing about the new Shelby's coming out next year? I'm definitely interested in the Shelby, but I think Ford is going to price it beyond reason. My car is sold. The guy that is buying it is picking it up on Monday, so I'm looking at other options.

But expect a mark up with shelbys name being on a cobra it will become an instant collecters car.

That "pulley swap" consisted of a 4mm smaller pulley. I'm not sure what size the stock pulley is, but a 4mm drop doesn't sound like it adds much boost to me. My stock pulley was 3.65". I had to go to a 2.76" pulley to make 16lbs (8psi stock). That's damn near an inch.
