Pulled over for no front plate
SOB gave me a citation for an expired inspection sticker that wasn't expired.
It's all good though, since I'm going to have the ticket dismissed.
Anyone else ever have crap like this happen to you?I guess I'm going to have to buy a damn front plate bracket to mount my friggin' lisence plate.
<---- That's what I think about the front lisence plate. Yeah, I wish we didn't have to have a front plate. I think I've read here on the board that we do though.

How are they around here about having the front plate inside the windshield? Seen some people who do that, but not sure how well it works.

Its in the transportation code.
It will be in the "Texas Traffic Laws" book.
As far as I know, as long as you have a front plate located in the front of the vehicle and it can be visible up 2-500 ft (I think) it is legal.
Here is what I found on TxDot website.:
Two license plates, one at the front and one at the
rear, must be displayed on all passenger cars or light
commercial vehicles operated on public highways. In
most cases, the license plates will be validated with a
windshield validation sticker. If your Texas license
plates or windshield validation sticker become lost,
stolen, or mutilated, replacements may be obtained
for the statutory fee of $5.30 by contacting any
County Tax Assessor-Collector.
As you can tell it's pretty bland.
Doesn't get specific on where on the front it should go.
And here is another one from the "Texas driver's handbook"
6. LICENSE PLATES—must have one valid plate at the front and one at the
rear of passenger and commercial vehicles except dealer plates and those
commercial vehicles that are only issued one license plate.
