Default any Sand Volleyball leagues in Houston?

Me and a couple friends are coming back to Houston for summer break from college. We'd like to enter a sand volleyball league. Does anyone have any information or know where I can find info?

Thanks guys!

We usually play at a park here in Friendswood on a usual basis during the summer when everybody is home from school. We usually start at 9 or so and go until about 2 or 3 in the morning. It's a great time.

there are tournaments in galveston on most weekends through the summer
at stewart beach
www.gcva.net

they have 3 divisions for men usually (dont know how serious you are about vball)

they also have like 8 week long mini-seasons at the sportsplex in league city (I45 and calder).. you play 2 games on tuesday nights if you play men's / coed is on thursdays
guys who play there are mostly serious vball players

if you are on the north side of houston, these would all be a pretty good drive for you.

do yall play doubles?
is it competitive out there, or just more of a hang out and have a good time thing?
are there open courts to where if we wanted to play for real, we could have a court with no girls?

reason i ask, is because some buddies of mine and myself wouldnt mind having a nice place to play at night during the summer
