So I rarely drive my car, and today I walked around her and noticed a dog had peed on my rims, so I wash it, but it left like a cloudy residue. They are torque thrust 2's in polished chrome I believe. And they are only about a week old
. Anyone got any suggestions, on how I can get rid of this.

If metal polish dont work you are going to have to wet sand and buff the spot, I have wetsanded and buffed my entire wheel before so I know that you can get a buffer in there.

that sux, but that is funny. Im guessing the wheel is polished and not chrome, with chrome you wouldnt have this problem. Since its pollished it should be too hard to get that taken care of.

I have wetsandend my entire wheel and then buffed them back then after that hand polish them with a metal polish(mothers)
I used 2000 grit sandpaper a wool pad and fine 3M compound
If you have never used a buffer on a car before I dont recomend trying it though, the buffer is very powerful and can easealy get snagged on things and put a nice little dent in youir wheel if youare not careful
The reason I wetsanded my wheel because I noticed my TT had a polished center but never seemed to get any brighter when i polished them.
So I took some sandpaper to them and turns out they had a clearcoat on them.

mothers billet however, that stuff works nicely, IF you go after it for a while.
