Default LPE GMPP Ported LS6 heads for sale

Purchased these heads from a board member (U LUZ) about a month back to install on my 02 Z28 and I have since sold the Z28 and bought a new 05 GTO. I do not plan to put the heads on the GTO at this time so I am putting these heads back on the market.

Below are flow numbers LPE quoted me today for these heads. LPE did not have a flow sheet available but did state the heads were ported to meet these numbers. Heads have been milled .030 by LPE per verbal statement from previous owner. These are 243 castings with sodium filled valves, LS6 valve springs, and 12,000mi on them total.

LPE LS6-239 88958622
LPE LS6-242 88958622
Code:
       Int Exh
.200 153 120
.300 228 171
.400 276 205
.450 288 213
.500 294 220
.550 307 224
.600 314 225
Per LPE subtract 3cfm from stated numbers above because heads have been milled.

The link below is to the original for sale thread posted by U LUZ.

This link is to a thread discussing the flow #'s of these heads.

This link is to 3rd party testing of stated flow numbers of these heads

Send me a PM or an email if you are interested in these heads.

I am asking what I paid for them $1350.

Thx JHH

BTW if you pull your heads and use these you could probally sell your heads off the GTO for 900-1000 dollars.

Would it be a big deal to go bigger than a FM13 with those heads? Thats what I have now, but plan to go bigger some day.

Thanks

GTO is great ... like it very much! I only have about 500mi on it so far ... I see you've been posting quite a bit for HPE and your car in shown in some of their advertisements ... are you part of the ownership of that business now?

Yes, these heads should really peform.

I'm not sure I'm the best one to answer that ... I'd give the cam manufacturer a call with the flow numbers above and see what they have to say about it.

Thx for the responses ...

The results I posted about were using a Trex.
You will need to flycut but they will work.
The only negative I found is the car peaks around 6400 and stays at peak or right around peak until 6800.
If the heads flowed a little better up top I think peak would have been a little
higher HP wise and RPM wise.
Still a great set of heads.
