Fake ws6 update!!!!!
Ok, my buddy just picked up his FAKE (2000 ws6) from soslow on the board. Here is the add from the car stateing its a true ws6. Also, he didnt mention to say the car was in a ditch. We had to find that out on our own. He drove all the way to mississippi to get this car. The guy said the car was pretty much perfect exept for a small scratch on the driver side bumper which he supplied pics. Come to find out the has a small crack in the dash also. The reason he took the car was the guy already had his money but we are going to take action immediatly to get the money back. On the door it syas ws9 as the code which is a regular ta. Also, its an aftermarket ws6 hood

didn't notice the lack of WS6 badging on the back or the Ram Air decal on the hood? people, as much as we pride ourselves in being F-body schooled, things like that, if not raising a red flag, should at least raise caution and bring question to mind. of course, no-one is fraud proof, but that car thread should'nt even have lasted. come on people.

when I bought my car it didn't have the WS6 badge on the back. It had been stolen at the dealership. Anyone can buy the decals and the badge anyway.. I know a few here that have done it.
The only way to be sure its a REAL WS6 is on the door. Even the lower air box isn't proof. Is it possible that they guy didn't know either? It really wouldn't suprise me either way

Based upon the pics alone, I would have suspected it was not an original hood. Look at the gap between the hood and the head lights. The drivers side has a considerably larger gap than the passenger side gap.
