2001 Yamaha R6 for sale i know this is not a bike fourm but it is a texas section(where i live).. ive been tryin to sell this bike for like 2 mo now and have had no luck! maybe one of you lucky people will help me out.
2001 R6 ....asking 4,000$$$
is SANDED DOWN as it sits!!!
13,500 miles on bike
performace mods: Akrapovic header and slip on... been jeted
Appearance mods: red windsheild(chiped)
new carbon fiber turnsignals
undertail kit
**Also have "HJC helmet" and "First gear mesh Jacket"
***bike has never been layed down, bike was droped by prevoius owners wife in garage***
when i bought the bike it had just recieved a tune up so its still good to go, ive only put 600-800 miles on the bike.

i sanded it down to paint black to match my firends bikes....well 2 days after i sanded down my bike and painted the back half black, my friend got a 2005 R6.. so i got all excited about new bike and decided i wanted one to.
i went looking for a R1 and couldnt find one cheap enough and my family is freinds with the suzuki place and so i got a 05 gsxr 1000 for dirt cheap!
the only reason i stuck my neck out on the line to buy the new bike is that my friend had said that he had the money in hand and would give it to me as soon as he got back in town...i learned never to trust people on their word!
but yea the bike runs great, i had fun on it!
sorry to make this so long but what pissed me off the most is that i wished i would of dropped the R6 instead of dropin my NEW bike the first week i had it!
