Houston Street Racing?
I hear so much about the street racing in Houston I have thought about flying out there and checking it out. If I fly out there, what are the odds of seeing some action? I would like to add to the video collection.

I think that last GOOD meet we had was when Chicago was down. Exept we were missing one thing....oh yeah....RACING. Who fathoms driving half way across the united frickin states, only to lose money and go home....jesus....
I like to think that I know enough people that I can get a meet together, so if your serious about getting some races on film, I'll do a little poking around. I'd wait until the winter though. Fat people like me sweat, and sweat makes me tired.

Houston street racing sucks now. I prefer to call it the "Post Fast and Furious" era now. Damn ricers and crowds and reckless driving brought the law on the rest of us. I remember 5-6 years ago we had cops flagging the races off at some locations. Back then it was the true gearheads and racers that street raced, and then the poser crews that thought it was some sort of Hollywood lifestyle started showing up and wrecking their cars and killing themselves in their Hondas.

i remember when you could go out to brittmore, rankin, pinemont on saturdays and watch some races. those places are all dead now. i heard rankin is still going, but not like before.
i also noticed they changed the lights on westheimer to stay on green unless there is cross traffic.
