Wink Need phone unlocked...any help?

Do I have to go somewhere and pay them to do it, or is the code available online? I have a cingular SIM card, the phone is a Motorola with an AT&T SIM card.

Anyone have any help here? Thanks!

you can go to harwin, go to any of the cell phone shops, most can do it, they can do it for like $15. Calling customer service will not get your phone unlocked, and no where online will you find how..

Went to the Cingular store, they said they couldn't do it but any kiosk in the mall should be able to get it done for about $25.

Just posting here to see if theres another way to do it

They lied to you then. I've gone to cingular and had phones unlocked so I could use them for tmobile. They probably knew they werent making any money off of you (b/c it was free for me, its just a code) so they didnt wanna mess with it. Hope you get it unlocked.

Have you tried using your sim card in it already? That AT&T phone might be after the merger or something and it might work.

The Motorola V600 requires a data cable, and cannot be unlocked by inputting a code through the keypad. Howardforums and others explain it. Might be worth butying a data cable if you had to unlock multiple phones.
