Default STS by Texas Rear Turbo dyno numbers on near stock 98' SS

1998 SS Camaro
Owner: Daniel Ellis

Mods:

STS turbo kit with T-60 @ 7psi
OBX 4" front mount intercooler
LS6 cam with Comp 918 springs on stock 98' heads
Walbro 255lph in-tank pump
SVO 36# injectors
TR7 plugs @ .028"
Mufflex off-road cat bypass pipes
SLP y-pipe
Stock 2002 exhaust manifolds
LS1 Edit

448rwhp / 476rwtq

I have the dyno sheet so if you can host it then post up your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

Billy at Texas Rear Turbos did a killer job on the install - especially the intercooler - it looks really trick. Car runs very hard and gets near 30mpg. Daniel should be signing up later to post his thoughts, but I was thoroughly impressed

Tune was 15 degrees at WOT and A/F in the 11's. He wants the car to last as long as possible. BTW, it is an M6

Billy is the best STS installer around (.)

He knows the kits better than most. Nice numbers for a z06 cam only car.... a little more timing and you should see about 10 more horses atleast.... who is GIMP and who dyno'd the car??

Everyone is your backdoor friend...
Would you lock a friends tune? that will tell you how much a friend he is to you.

dorks...

STS prostitutes it's dealer accounts... it has flooded the market with so called dealers that pay the Buy In... and dont know **** about FI ! Billy does. He knows the kits up and down.. he installs them clean! he mounts them high.... he knows the 67,76 etc limitations.... Rick Squires had a great idea... his new concern is making money on buy ins..... IMHO.

He is one of the few dealers that doesnt just drop ship kits! ... so you guys can kiss "his" ***.....

looks like a 310-320 rwhp car if you remove the STS "mods"... mine made 307 w/ 6 speed and only Lid / iCats. Ls6 cams suck NA! it is a real baby baby cam... a newborn cam on a NA motor!

For 7psi on a "easy" tune???

now if it was 8 or 9 psi that would be different... I wonder if it was a full 7psi to begin with?? settings are usually iron'd out. 130rwhp is impressive. The torque says something is left on the table. Procharger's hit 500rwhp with 8-9psi..... that is a 180 gain. Most cars dyno curves with STS dont have that large a HP vs TQ swing!
