They're not as mean as everyone thinks they are, just most are territorial. If you were to come up to mine in my yard, he'd rip ya apart. If he saw you out of it, it'd prolly be different. With that said, it -does- take some ***** to take a pit out of it's environment. Either the guy knows the dog, or he's just plain crazy. Hope you get him back man.

You could walk right into my backyard and take mine and the only problem you would have is dog slobber.

Clue up! The net is there to educate you on these things.

could be someone in the neighborhood might not like your dog (for whatever reason), and called animal control or something, and they came & got it.

you might check with the local animal shelters.

You need to be warry of people that steal dogs then contact you saying they have your dog. They will then proceed to tell you that they will give you your dog back but you owe them for the vet bill that they paid for to care for the dog. Basically you will have to buy your dog back. bunchca BS, happen to my friend with his pitbull in Spring.

That sucks. Any way he could have got out on his own? I say this because i have 4, and 3 of them can get out, the other is just too big But I have a chainlink fence with electric fence wire at the top and bottom, all this INSIDE a 6 foot privacy fence. I had to resort to putting a larger electric box that'll damn near electrocute you ( it's killed 2 birds in the last 3 days). My neighbors kept calling the animal control guy and the police and I finally got a $125 ticket because 1 got out 2 weeks ago.

yes, i thought about that and no there is no possible way it could have gotten out checked and rechecked. The dog is only 3 months old so it aint too scary.
