The best thing to do is to go to txlottery.org look up the scratch-offs and list by price or whatever. It lists them with an approximated winners left. So if you like $2 scratch-offs, it may list $300 winners with 50 left and another $2 scratch-off with 2 left. Of course, the easy choice is the one with 50 left.

true ive heard of some people dropping their whole paychecks on scratch offs to try and multiply it and come home with nothing. I feel bad for those people. I mean right now Im pissed off I lost and I feel like i want to go spend more money to get my money back but I know I will most likely NOT break even again, so Im trying to hold back...Damn...I really am mad, lol.

hahah back when i was 16 i was workin at albertsons as a stocker... anyways i decided to play scratch offs.... wasted $20 till.....i won a $50 on my last dollar....i then wasted more more and more.....won a $10 ....then wasted the rest. to make a long story short, i went home with like $3 bucks. lesson learned

I got stuck on the Weekly Grand for a while. I won quite a bit on them, but I also spent a lot...
I remember one time I had like $25 to get gas and I really needed to get gas with it, but decided to buy $25 worth the tickets so I could hopefully get more than $25 worth the gas... And I didn't win a dime off any of them. So I got no gas and no money, but I guess that's why they call it gambling.

The best ones are the winners... sorry no help here, I keep my money in my pocket.

However, a guy I used to work with spends 100 bucks YES ONE HUNDRED every week on 5 and 10 dollar scratchoffs (said hes been buyin scratchoffs ever since they came out). Im not sure his win vs loss but he claims to be ahead. I have seen him with numerous couple hundred and many thousand dollar tickets in the 3 years I worked with him.

a guy that used to work for my father used to work at a convienience store. one day he decided to scratch an ENTIRE BOX of those tickets, assuming there would be at least one jackpot... he owed the store a LOT of money and got fired

I used to work at a c-store for a few weeks. It was suprising how many people would come in and play and loose their *** repeatedly.

Supposedly, if you look at the odds and they are like 1 in 3.98 or something, you can buy 4 and get 1 that will at least pay back that one, sometimes it doesnt work though, as winners will be next to each other. Some people swear that the first off a roll will win or the last on a roll will win. This coming from a co-worker at the time. Suprisingly, 3out of 4 that he did that on would win. He'd buy the first one and if it didnt win, he'd buy the last, but if the first won, he wouldn't buy the last...

ok i went to go buy a can of cope and had 5 bucks...Right when I turned I saw that god damn scratch off machine! ....yes i put my 5 bucks in it and got 5 $1.00 scratch offs...and I won!!! I won ONE ......dollar....Im done for now, I swear! lol

i spent five years at a chain of c-stores as an associate and asst. mgr. we had SEVERAL people that would come in regularly and drop huge amounts of money. most of them lose their shirt. there was one guy who won alot. this guy would come in twice a day around noon and just before 10(these are the times the pick 3 game draws) and he would drop 500-600 a day on the pick threes and another 200-300 on scratch offs. the way he played pick threes he would win 500 bucks per ticket and would buy 10-20 sets of the same numbers usually. it seemed like he would win pick 3s at least every other week, and he was always getting 100s and 500s on scratch tickets. this guy was some sort of karate instructor and he followed some kind of "astrological" system when playing his pick 3 numbers. it was crazy to see someone win that often. he did have his rough stretches too, but and he was an awesome tipper

i work at a big scratch off dealer...

most people win on our 20$ tickets called cool millions. Almost everyone comes back. We have had 4 people win 25,000 off them too in the past 2 years

I play "two for one" , the 1 dollar ticket about 4 times a week and i almost always win 5$ each time

I like the Weekly Grand's myself. Funny story, 2 guys I used to work with went to the same store and bought the same tickets every day. One guy in line bought one, then his friend bought the next one. They get back to work, scratch them off, and the first guy wins $10,000! I would have kicked him dead in the nuts if I was the guy behind him in line.

I think he only ended up getting like $7k after taxes and ****.
