ENGINE OIL w/filter

what do you guys use?? not for stock ls1. more of H/C fullbolt-on

do you guys believe in Synthetic?? which filter??

valvoline better?? or castrol??

i know GERMAN CASTROL 0w-30 is the best for ls1 but anyone else use something different??

mobil 1 filter m107 (i believe)
Mibile 1 5w 30
Thats what I use... on all of cars

I use amsoil. I like it way better than Mobil 1. I use the amsoil filter as well

yeah i know.. just wondering what other ppl were using. seems like GC 0w-30 is popular here.

I used GC before I blew the stock motor up, then went with the cheap **** on the 408.
Hell I changed it every 2500 anyways, worked just fine for me.

Run the expensive **** ifyou dont want to change it for 8k miles or something like Patman does... He knows oil if you want to get into the heavy talk on it..

Its popular because you are on the internet where no one has seen any real results in testing but about 2%. Lots of Nascar teams have tested this **** including chris. whatever is on sale at the time is good.
