james did it on $600 in mods. the car is long gone, im not sure but i think that "record" still stands i belive the s2 was out but the s3 kit was still waiting on release. it was 11.8x at 118 i belive, ill have to ask him when i see him

I have an account there. My brother raced a guy named Muddyjeep on there years ago when he was Cam only. We had some good smack talk on the forums, but he was probably one of the coolest guys when it came to racing. He had 2 sons that he would go out with and they'd race anything even if they knew they were going to lose.

muddyjeep was a cool guy, has one of the fastest neons before anyone know who he was. his car was fast before there was even a stage one kit from dodge

Cool, I couldn't remember how much he spent but it had alot of them pissed off. I just remember all of them telling Chris he needed to race him to "put him in his place" then we roll down our windows and other then oh **** whats up Powell was.. Don't spray me I want to see how I do. Because Chris I think was on his LS6 cam and heads and 100shot. James use to have the same setup with turbo 350 if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah the car would do every bit of 116 or 117mph when those cars were I think 3 or 4 months old. Like I said he was probably the coolest person to talk to because he had been around cars a long time. Last I heard he had a turbo Harley (seriously ).

I'm trying to remember what his name on the SRT board was. It was back in like 05 I want to say. Deez probably knows on that one. But it was also back then when they were still learning them, but I swear he had gone 11.6s in it. I don't remember really though I just remember 11s lol.

his car was an 04 so it had been out about a year, no turbo harley that i know of, had/has a busa and a drop top ls1 now. im not sure what his name on the srt board was anymore

I understand that a 106 1/8th is good for mid 130's. That is moving out for a street car. You don't have to remind me to do math.

5mph is over 100+whp to get to where you want to be... It maybe a little less but so you will know that 10hp does not equal a mph, and I know damn well your manifold isn't going to pickup anywhere near that HP.. I mean according to you alls figures I should call Tim Lynch and tell him to get 100hp out of it and he'll break 230mph in the 1/4..
You must not have read what I said, I never said I was going to change my manifold and expect 100whp. I said I was going to a GT3582. You missed that part obviously. I can make at least another 150-175whp out of a 3582 on a well built manifold, which I'm sure you know.

And as for me talking about my brothers LS1... You don't want to talk about big brother because I've gone faster then any of you ever wish you could go, esp in a Neon.. Notice the 8 Second Club title.
I don't race my brother's car, my sisters's boyfriend's car, my friend's distant 3rd cousin from out of state's car, and no I didn't call your brother out on anything. 8 seconds is a serious car, especially if it is in street trim, so props to him, not you.

This is only at 9psi vs srt-4's at 17-20psi. Mind you this was on a 50trim and a 20g.
There are a few S3R SRT's that post on the forums that have hit a 125 trap. I don't know where you're getting your information to try and prove me wrong, but you're looking in the wrong place. Keep in mind that not EVERY SINGLE SRT IN THE WORLD is posting their times on the internet. Just because your friend's S3 can't hit even close to 125, doesn't mean someone that knows what the hell they're doing can't.

I'm sorry to hear your friend was walked by 3 cars when you are at a 119 trap. Obviously he is learning you can't just bolt something up and expect it to be fast. No one said a S3R SRT is straight up 120+ out of the box on a car with basic bolt-on's, but with mild tuning or head work, 120-123 is a realistic goal. The upper end of the spectrum on the turbo is from 123-126, and getting any faster than that would require a larger compressor wheel, major head work, or a decent amount of spray.

For reference, the cars in those video are local to me, and that blue APS 350z is Chris and I am friend's him. I believe his best trap to date at the track is about 120mph even. All three of those SRT's are running with some sort of handicap. I didn't keep track of all of them but I believe one them didn't even have a return line on the car yet.

Those cars were not at 17-20psi either. Don't believe everything you read or hear over the internet with videos.

Yeah just a 7 liter car that gets stock MPG, retains a warranty, and passes emissions, but hey it's no neon.. I think someone is suffering from ***** envy.
