Default Pics of the '06 Duramax w/NEW Moto Metal 951

As some of you know from reading a previous thread of mine, I now have 20x10 Moto Metal 951 (-18mm). I absolutely love the wheels and I am extremely happy with the decision I made. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Bigger tires? Haha. That's as big as I'm going. I just swapped to these 35s from 33s not too long ago. This is my daily driver, so I have to keep it somewhat reliable/streetable. The fronts barely clear the front of the bumper when its turned all the way to the left or right. If I had better offset, then it would help, but then I would give up a deeper "dish."

ncie wheels, be prepared to lose those caps, they fall off easily after taking them on and off quite a bit

Shouldn't be a problem for me. I won't take them off, no need to. The wheels/tires can be removed without having to remove the center cap.

Looks good. We put those same wheels on my brother-in-laws '06 Z71. Itried to talk him into different wheels because I wanted some 951s on my Dodge .

Thanks for the compliments. I just added chrome rear bumper license plate lights. I swear, in '03, GM got cheap because there was no chrome hardly on my truck. I added the chrome mirror caps, Escalade door handles, JP Custom Escalade tailgate handle/bezel, and the chrome Chevy grille bowtie. I thought about getting my front bumper cover (the black plastic portion) painted to match the truck.

Nice truck, looks like plenty of tire to me. There is a bad trend of people "pimping out" work trucks around here lately. Is your engine stock? I love the sound of a modded Duramax.

Predator set on 120, MBRP 4" exhaust with cat & muffler delete, Transgo Jr. shift kit, and a Fingerstick/EGR blocker plate.

SSilverSSurfer, oh ok. But I shouldn't need tires 2-2 1/2 years. They'll come off then, then again 2-2 1/2 years later. Not that often. Hopefully I have good luck. But thanks for the heads up.

jlrz28, it depends. I haven't gotten an accurate calculation because I can't keep my foot out of it. If I baby it, it'll get 15-16 in the city. The best I've got with it so far is 20 mpg, but that was strictly highway.

UB2SLO, I actually like the grille. Were you referring to the entire grille or inserts? I like billet grilles, but everyone has them.
