I've got a 10 bolt with 3.42 gears and Auburn posi that is being replaced with a 9". I'll let it go for $160, BUT I need your caliper backing plates & the ABS reluctors off your junked 10 bolt for my 9" (my rear end comes with the backing plates and reluctors).

TTT ... Rearend is still under my car, and interested parties are more than welcome to go for a ride.
FYI, the auburn posi in it is TIGHT - bring your torque wrench and check the break-away torque.

Is the Auburn an aftermarket posi unit or stock? If its aftermarket would be willing to part it out seperate? I have a 3 channel rear but need a new posi unit asap. I blew mine up on the first pass at Lonestar Motorsports Park.

Brent,
Appriciate the offer, but I'd like to sell this as a complete rear end.

Not sure on either - I just bought the car. Here's what I know:
The car has 63,xxx miles on it.
Previous owner said the rearend was rebuilt in 2003 and has an Auburn posi with 3.42 GM gears..
It's dead quiet.
Posi holding torque is nice and tight.
Everything is dry - no leaky pinion seals.
It's still in the car, and potential buyers are welcome to go for a ride.
If no one buys it in the next few days, I'm going to pull it apart for the backing plates and ABS reluctor rings, and ebay/toss the rest.
