oppinions wanted!
where is the safest place for jack stands if you are say.....installing headers?
i choose the frame rails rather than the A-arms
what do you guys think?

I put mine under the bottom of where the a-arms connect to the k-member. See pic. If I need to jack the rear up, I put the jack stands under the axle tubes. If I need to unload the rear suspension, I put them under the body in front of the LCA's, near the SFC's.

If you try to put the jackstands under the k-member, they are too close together to get between them. They're also not as stable as they are farther apart.
I've been doing it this way for years, no problems with the bushings yet. 130k miles has probably done more damage to those dudes than the jackstands ever will.
