I dont know how it is here in texas but in Illinois they cant fine you for less than 5 over due to the accuracy of the radar gun. Have a lawyer go to court for you and ask when the radar gun was last calibrated and how long it had been since the officer was last qualified to use it. They'll drop that **** in a heart beat. Gotten out of alot of tickets. Helps to know the loop holes.

as a 20 year retired officer moving radar is +/- 2 mph and stationary is +/- 1 mph also given the factory speedo inaccuracy dps policy has always been 5mph over on the 6 u get stopped anyhting lower than that wouldnt even make it to court sorry to hear about that officer prob a rookie what dept was he with?

You should have told him to stop talking and just give you a ticket, then take him to court and let the judge laugh in his face.
