Maybe I missed it but did you change the oil pump? I would say 99% you are going to need a rebuild.

what do u mean bunch of kids haha ****. i knew what i was doin we had 0 problems this had NOTHING to do with the cam install.....

update: i pulled both heads and the lifters are fine. and there was no signs of any damage, it had to be something in the bottom end. someone recommended it was a cam dowel pin but i doubt it. i have pics of everything as wel that i will post shortly

Sounds like a spun bearing, looks like you might have gone a couple teeth off on the timing chain.

Looks also like you had some valves contact the pistons on 5 and 7. I can't imaging valve float with those springs though...

Instead of putting it back together pull the front cover off and pull the cam...Id bet the dowel is gone...with contact on 5 and 7....your gonna have to spend some money this time. Do NOT put stock lifters back in that thing with that cam. Pull your lifter trays out and check them for cracks.

taht's like advancing/retarding the cam. you change where the power is going to be made alittle. but with such a donkey dicked cam you dont have any error room
