Default Who's running BFG KDWs?

How do they grip at the track (compared to DRs if you know)?

Thanks!

I had them on my setup in the begining and they hooked up as good as the drag radials. I believe that was just with external mods no internals.

Ive flip-flopped between KDW's and GS-D3's and the KDW's are better tire to turn with...and the GS-D3 is better in a straight line...both are great in the rain......try the search button....there's been ALOT of talk about those tires.

I had them on my bolt on SS with a stall and they couldn't get traction on the street, I can't imagine them being good at the track, get the KDs.

They came stock on my GTO. Most GTO owners complained about them, while I thought they were great. Damn decent traction (even in the rain), and good tread-wear (about 30k miles).

I too had KDW's for the longest. Damn problem is they wear to fast. I could only get about 15k out of them, only a couple of track passes. Never seemed to be a problem though at the track, minimal tire spin. Only got about 330 at the wheels, but sometimes on the street I couldn't get them to hook for ****. IMHO overpriced.

I have the BFG KDW's on my SS/SC and i must agree that she corners better with em, but on the street, they still seem to spin a bit. She grabs second much better then my old Pirrellis, but still spins a bit in first. All in all, they are an aggressive looking, decently performing tire. I can't give any input on wet traction as of yet though, no rain here for a couple weeks.

i have kdw's that i just got about 3 days ago. they have done real nice on the street so far for a street tire but they aren't a slick or anything and in the rain they do pretty good as well. ill know better once they are broken in though.

got 315 kds and 275 kdw tires on my z28. ive been thru the bridgestones the gsc's and many others. and i have to say these tires are the best ive had so far. and they definately look the best. as far as traction goes ide say its decent. but i can still white smoke my 315s at a 65 mph roll.

yea but it's hard to get anything over 550+ rwhp to hook on anything less than slicks on the street.
