*RANT* College Football TV
Why does Notre Dame get preferntial treatment when it comes to TV games? The team is UNRANKED, CRAPPY, playing an UNRANKED team, why are they showing it?
I would rather watch Texas Tech/Ok State play tied in the 4th qtr than watch ND get nailed by Mich State. I don't understand this.
ND SUCKS!! They didn't score their FIRST offensive Touchdown until their 4th game, 1st possession and that was only because Mich St fumbled on their own 10 yd line.
I notice that this will be like this for the next 8 ND games?? WTF?
The ONLY game that they could end up winning this season is next week against Purdue, then they've got :
1. UCLA (loss, 20+ pts)
2. Boston College (loss 10+)
3. USC (any bets on THIS game?)
4. Navy (well, ok, give them this one)
5. Air Force (loss, AF is playing well)
6. Duke (ok, give them this one to)
7. Standford (toss up, might win it)
So, my prediction that they are nationally televised with a record of 4-8? YEa, GREAT team to televise! MAybe we should put Prairie View A&M on nationally as well, I mean, they've got a better record 2-1 than ND does!
What are the qualifications for this setup anyway?
I mean really, I can watch MORE ND games than UT games, and I guarantee that UT will have a better record and has a higher possibility of going to a BCS bowl than ND Will this year! hmm....as of this, UT is 3-0 and ND is now 0-4!!
Sorry..had to speak my mind!!

Purdue = loss
BC = loss
USC = loss
Navy = toss up
Air Force = toss up
Duke = probable win
Stanford = probable win
I hate ND. No sympathy here, lol.

Here's the breakdown in 2004:
Protestant 53%
Catholic 23%
Mormon 2%
Other 22% (Judiasm etc etc)
Remember, that this country is based on freedom of religion and specifically the Pope and the Church of England. So, only 23% of the nation is Catholic. Which is only 1/4, but still taking 100% of the TV time.

What does the fact that 20% of American's can't locate the US have anything to do with the fact that the majority of the US is Protestant thus would have a LARGER following across the nation than the Catholics.
So, if you've got a smaller majority, it would be more sporadic viewship.
Then the opposite applies to the majority.
They should only play ND games in markets that they are in (Chicago/Indiana), then the Top 25 games nationally. That's all I was trying to say.
You brought up religion, all I did was expound on it, not my fault you can't debate something without a personal attack!
