no big deal, most schools have events for "preferred" big donors where they get more info on the program than the typical alum or fan. Every where else i know of is an actual lunch or dinner, not a news letter

 

Im bout ready for Fran to move on..

 

That's pretty standard in the NCAA, actually.

 

its pretty standard...but our AD had no idea of it. Fran has put the icing on the cake many times with-in the last month. and he should be gone by the end of the year, BB has a policy to re-evaluate coaches at the end of the year...but it could be sooner if we get blown out for some games on the road.

 

Fran will not go anywhere after this season. I believe they are going to ride out this season and look for the seat to get hot next season. I think if he does not produce next season at least a top 10 finish or a big 12 title he will be gone. He needs to do like Mack Brown and get the next Vince Young in there SOME HOW SOME WAY ( Pay a player or 25) and win a title. Brown was so close to termination during the failed Chris Simms era. Then VY took him to a title and a title buys you ten years.

I really would like to see A&M get back into the hunt, but I am biased I would like to see the big Texas schools reclaim the state of Texas dominance back to college football. Plus it is better if the Big 12 would step it up, the only team making a statement in the Big 12 is OU. I know you UT people will cry out "what about us ?" That number 7 ranking is favorable, there lack of destroying the opponents they are suppose to is lack luster. Central Florida took it to them harder than sould be allowed, TCU's score was not prevalent to the way they played. One or two less turnovers and I think UT may have been upset.

And as for Fran and his 1200 dollar a year subscription to "insider" info, well pay me I can tell you the first 10 plays A&M will run.LOL jk. Fran this aint TCU and you have no LT or a bad *** defensive coordinator like Gary Patterson to help you. Step up or move over and let Jimmy Johnson come into town. LOL

Fran is the best player for Tech and UT fans for sure.

 

While I bleed maroon, I am really sick of this. I have not cared for Fran since I was in Norman and saw A&M get RAPED 77-0.
All I heard when I graduated was how RC was the problem and Fran was gong to change things. NOTHING but hype.
I am tired of excuses and I am tired of mediocrecy.
The A&M program has too much money behind it to perform the way they do currently.
My entire undergrad experience we never lost a game in Kyle Field until 2000. Wile RC did not cut it for the big games, Fran has completely failed at being the change agent he was promised to be. And I don't want to hear about what he did for other programs because he sure is not doing it for A&M.

 

Man, what an embarrassment for A&M. What Fran did was very unethical was also incredibly a poor decision on his part. This alone IMO should get him fired. The guy makes $2 million+ a year and he needs $1,200 a year from a few Ags to pay for his website? What a cheap ***. Once he gets fired he will probably have a hard time finding another job after this.

 

the problem with this is not the injury info etc .. it is the candid comments about players and how they are performing that will bite him in the butt.

when A&M goes 7-5 this year .. Fran is going to be in trouble
