Someone backed into the Trans Am
I watched as two young Hispanic males got into a parked car across the street. I was afraid he would back into my car which was parked on the street. He backed right into it and took off. I watched the whole thing. I ran out and got most of the license plate number and immediately called the cops. Thankfully, there was a cop at the right place at the right time. They got them while I was on the phone with dispatch. Come to find out, the driver is a minor, no license and no insurance. I am pressing charges. The officer told me about a Victim's Compensation Act. Does anyone know about that? I want to know if I qualify. Here's a picture of the damage. Any idea on how much it'll cost to fix it?

luckly you seen it, awhile back i woke up to see the front end of my car smashed up on the corner, some *** backed into my car and took off. I had an idea who it was and the markings on both matched, the height of the truck compared to the damaged matched and color marks on my car, called the cops, they coudnt do anything about it. Really fucked up............ lets just say they got what they deserved.

thats not very much damage at all, it could be much worse, i believe someone could pop that back but may have to do a little more work. How hard did they hit, did they back up pretty slow or in a hurry.

Yeah, I'm pressing charges. They are going to juvenile right now. I think the court case might take a month or so. Skipping school, no license, no insurance, hitting a parked car without leaving information...

Fortunately, he hit it as he was backing out out the parking space across the street. It happened a little before 11 this morning. I got my first ride in the back of a police car to identify them and the car. Heh.

Man that SUPER SUCKS, God I would have wanted to put that dudes face throught his steering wheel if I just had liability. I believe the Victims Compensation Act just applys if you are injured. I was stabbed in a Bar Fight a couple years back & the Victims Compensation Act paid for all my medical bills. Then the state went after them for the money.
Man good luck buddy.
