Default FS: '96 T/A 475hp... Found It On Craigslist

I thought someone here in Texas might be interested. Not bad for $5000 if your looking for an M6 LT1 already with H/C and bolt-on's. Anyways, Here is the link to the car http://austin.craigslist.org/car/453121325.html

i saw it on craigslist... but its prob a POS... 410 gears in a 6spd? prob about to break if a kid owned it. There is a dent on the rear fender(not cheap) and he says that the AC just needs freon? Prob not, it prob needs a new compressor. If it was just freon. Why isnt it fixed?? I dont trust the car.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Freon is an easy fix... I see alot of f-bodies out for sale that say they just need freon but I bet they all need new compressors.

Its a lie, that car doesnt make near 475, his mods dont even support it, i messaged him to ask what the rest of the mods were and he said that what was listed was it.

130,xxx miles dynotuned (475 horsepower at the crank), long tube hedders,Stage II LT1 ported heads, 306 cam, cold air intake, 4.10 gears, sway bar, short shifter, 6 speed manual transmission

I msg'd him just to see what the gas mileage was and he told me the car got around 12mpg... Also he said the car had the mods^^^^^ listed above this post. Didn't think that little amount of stuff would make even near 475hp.

he doesnt know much about the car from what he told me, he was guessing, he knows some things that are on it but im sure he's not even sure about that. I know weve all seen those guys or people that think their camaro is badass because it has a "CORVETTE ENGINE" and think their car is special and is the only one with that engine and think a cold air intake gives their LT1 50hp lol.

I went to go look at a '96 T/A WS6 and the owner told me it was a collectors item because it had an LT1/T56 Corvette engine and transmission. What a moron! Then he told me the WS6 package was for some nascar edition ****. It had 120,000 miles on it and he told me if he wanted to, he could get around $14K for it lol. What a ******' loser... I ended up buying a '96 T/A with only 91K on the odometer for $4K
