Anyone want to go and run at Rusk next Sunday, they are having test and

I'll see what's up with The LS1tech group from Red River Raceway and maybe some of us will drive down. Do ya'll get a pretty good turn out of LS1 cars ? We have been trying to get a little LS1tech racing series going between tracks around this part of the country. Do ya'll think you may be interested in working with us over the winter to start something next year? We had two races this year at RRR with about 40 cars racing and another 10 or more came out to watch. Let me know if ya'll may be interested. We will be racing at RRR on Nov. 17th, 12-5 ( LS1tech Turkey Shootout ) come on up and have some fun.

 

The track is open , the website is not being updated, Red River Raceway
is running the Rusk track too. We have some Corvettes running from time
to time, and there are several other cars in our group not LS1 based. We
have a Grand Prix GTP , S10 Supercharged, Hemi Magnum, and a couple
of Diesel trucks also. Come on down and play and maybe we will see you
in November......

 

I already have plans but if I can get out of them I'll be there. Wish I woulda known sooner. I wondered if there were any LSX racers at Rusk

Casper the ghost, All your buddies are welcome to come to the LS1 race in Nov. @ RRR they can get in the bracket class or just beatup on each other in the grudge/TnT lane. It is mostly LSX cars but it's open to anyone. We even have some bad *** Foxstangs coming up from the south to race with us.

I'd like to see some Diesels running, I'm about to buy me a Duramax in the next month or so.

Rusk is actually "home" track to a bunch of lsx racers from Tyler. I would love to come out this weekend and run with yall but unfortunately I have to work this weekend. Maybe in the future we can get something planned and I can bring quite a big lsx crew from Tyler to come run as well. There is a big lsx crew in Tyler but we are all real low key due to cop harassment.

 

Hmmm, I had no idea there were many LSX cars that race at rusk. All you guys need to come on over to RRR on the 18th and race with us then when the track opens back up in the early spring we can all set us up a race at Rusk

 

That sounds great we have all been talking about going to run at RRR but just never made it out there. Defiantly let me know when yall come back to Rusk and we will meet yall out there.

I forgot to tell you but Nov. 17th ur rolling out to Red River Raceway with us. So u need to clear your schedule!

 

The original owners of Cherokee County Motorsports Park closed the track
down and are no longer upkeeping the website. The folks from Red River Raceway have leased the track and are making a go of it.
