yeah, I have. It will change your life! It is not a get rich quick thing at all. It will be very hard to make some changes you will need to make. But there are a bunch of people who have done it already. So, it will make you better if you let it. My wife and I have gotten rid of $12000 of debt in a year! Good luck!

I only wish I ran across him sooner.
I listen to him on the radio every weekday. He has helped me put a stucture to a bunch of stuff I already knew. Every dollar that comes from parting out my TA is going toward paying off dept. I am on target to owe nothing but my house by year end.

I used to listen to him all the time. I can't believe so many people get as far as they do in debt. I can understand the people that have unexpected hardships, but some people just need to learn to wait until you make the money to buy whatever instead of swiping the old credit card.

Now that sounds very interesting. Any snapshots on what they advise/tell you to do? I know it would probably take a whole lot of typing but is there anything in short we as a whole probably didnt know that should have done already? (besides a savings account and 401k.

cliff notes
-make a strict budget for every dollar you bring in and stick to it
-pay off smallest debt as fast as you can then go to the next one using the money your were using from what you paid off plus what you were paying on that note. Basicly you are creating a debt snowball to knock it all out.

this was a big hurdle for us, as we used the Credit cards for emergencies.. home/vehicle/other emergencies, cause we didnt have the cash t pay for it.
ALWAYS pay cash for your items..
If you cant pay cash then you dont get it.. simple enough.
also you need to have a percentage of what you make in a savings account..
and leave it there, and leave it alone unless an emergency comes up..
It can be done, and it gives you a really good feeling when you can pay cash for items..
now when something breaks or goes wrong, I dont start sweating thinking of how I am going to pay for it,

It amazes me that somebody needs a class for this stuff. Most of his advice is solid, but you could spend 10 minutes on his website to get the idea of what he is preaching. The most important one is to not spend money you don't have.
I wish I could find that SNL skit they did on that.
