Default One of my HID headlights jsut went out... where can I get it replaced locally??

Well my drivers side HID headlight just went out. Sometimes it just doesnt come on. Other times it flickers on and then shuts off. Or just flickers and stays on. Im assuming its bc that wire is burned? Also, if its just the bulb/wires, Where can I go to get it replaced. I called oreileys to try to get a quick fix, but no dice. I dont want to drive around with one headlight
Heres some shitty phone pics to give an idea.

Hey Pat, How do you like your HIDs anyways? Over at work we have a set of used HIDs laying around from a BMW we previously worked on. Had a busted out headlight and we went ahead and bought two used headlights off an '03 model for $100.. And yes they were in perfect condition, HIDs . I was thinkin' about either putting them in my fog lights or in my headlights if they fit.

they look good, but i wouldnt mind having stock so i wouldnt have to worry about getting pulled over. By the way. I cut the red wire in half and hooked it all back up and tried to touch the wire together. and the light wouldnt come on.

What.. I didn't know HIDs were illegal? They come stock on BMWs, Lexus and other luxury vehicles.

i could be wrong, but im like 95% sure that they're technically illegal if they didnt come on the car. but I've also heard that cops dont even pay attention to that so wtfc

I dont mind having them if I can get my drivers side light working again. But HID lights is just another reason to get pulled over IMO.

Have you checked on how much the bulb was to replace? I know on that BMW we had at the shop, the bulb alone from BMW was a good $100 or something like that.

if the bulb is bad then you can buy a replacement bulb. bad thing is you prolly wont find it locally. tony had the same HID kit as i did! we got them from a sponsor here on tech ledgauges.com. yes a replacement bulb will cost around $100+. they are 8k bulbs.

I took it to oreileys they said the bulb looks fine. But we noticed some other burn marks on the red wire but really close to the bulb. I dont think i'll be able to splice them together. How hard is it to hook stock light bulbs back up for the time being. and do you know if he had relays put in here for the hids?
