171 in a 65? Did they lock you up? Shiitt. Did you hire a traffic lawyer? BTW, anyone who needs a good reference: Paul Kubosh. p:713.220.0990. Been using him since I was 16. I've had more tickets than anyone I know - COMBINED. And I only have ONE on record.

I was thinking the same until I remembered seeing about the same thing on tv. The guy on the bike gave a chase for a long time but stopped all of the sudden because his brakes were giving out (heat from all of that braking). The officer asked him why did he stopped, he said because he was taking corners and the brakes werent going to take anymore of that and that he did not want to take a big wipe out.

Sounds like your buddy was pulling your leg, or you're trying to pull ours.

^ Yeah.. It's not like they could have caught up to you very quickly. Some cop cars are freakin' slow as hell. I would understand if they were chasing you in a Z06 or something lol.

LOL! Kubosh was my bondsman. Yeah on a Bike 97 honda CBR 600, runnin 116 octane that night. The cop didnt hit his lights till I had come to a stop in traffic so by the time I caught wind of trouble i was already fucked. No it didnt earn me a night in the pokey it earned me a week in the pokey. Sold my bike to pay the lawyer too. got me out of felony charges that were all bs but they hit me with a **** ton of charges so I would get a bunch dismissed and still end up with something. charges included reckless endangerment, and atempted vehicular manslaughter even got mentioned once- scared me shitless when i heard that. Its all over but the cryin now. I ended up with a Class A misdemeaner conviction and a 12 month suspension on my TDL.

Oh and Humble PD has one Impala that'll about 155 mph. still didnt have **** on me but not all cop cars are slow, Shenendoah will haul *** too. Ive done plenty of runnin but I got caught with my shorts down this time.
