I just got a call from my mom that our dog Kareem died. She is right at 13 yrs old now. She has been losing weight for a little while and my parents and I had discussed having her put down but couldn't do it as she didn't ever seem in much pain. Well last night after licking the peanut butter out of a jar that my dad gave her, she passed sometime in the middle of the night.
She was half yellow lab and half white shepard.
She was a wonderful dog and I will miss her greatly.
RIP Kareem

Thanks for your kind words everyone. My dad buried her this morning in the front yard next to my old dog that died right before we got Kareem.
I don't know if my parents will be getting another one, I assume they will as my dad likes having a dog on the porch to let him know when someone pulls up.
Thanks again
