Default What's the BEST Sprint phone IYO?

I'm about to sign up for the "SERO" plan - yeah, of course I'm an employee ... so which phone should I get:

HTC Touch - like it, don't like that it doesn't have a keyboard
Mogul - Like it a lot, but bluetooth has probs, and is a lil slow
Pearl - currently have one, it's tight, but i don't want the same phone
BB 8703e - like it, but doesn't support Sprint TV
Moto Q 9C - Don't know anything about it - anyone have one?

Any other suggestions?

Well... there are two "HTC" phones. The gray one - the HTC Mogul - with a keyboard (also have a model without but is older), and the black one - the HTC Touch and none have keyboard. I'm guessing you have the Mogul? It's tight but is it true that the bluetooth sux and programs are sometimes slow? My friends have one and they like it a lot besides those two points

Yes i do. It does run slow sometimes but i do enjoy the sliding keyboard. I had a treo and a blackberry before this phone and i like this one better for the sliding keyboard. I never use the bluetooth but my friend did hook it up to his Nav once and it worked good. I have tried taking notes during class on it but you are gonna have to get the keys down pretty good before you will be able to do that.

I'm gonna watch this thread. I'm looking to upgrade from my A900 since I've had it for a couple years.

I personally like that phone as a regular, non smartphone. I used to have the Cingular equivalent but I can't remember the model # anymore.. I do suggest taking a good look at the Pearl! I have no real complaints except that it too is sometimes slow and choppy

I like treo's a lot but they also don't support Sprint TV and they're kinda big and not so pocket friendly. I like that I can just lock the keyboard on my pearl and slip it in my pocket but again, i want something different

They did get rid of the huge *** antenna. Mine had the antenna and would poke the **** out of my leg. The touch screen went out on both of my treos.

I really like the Pearl! I had never even heard of it until now. If that other guy doesn't buy it I might get it from you.

What is this SERO plan? I always hear about it but don't know what it is.

It's the Sprint employee's plan.. You get better rates, unlimited data, and discount on phones + rebates!

I don't even know what kind of discounts you get but I imagine they are good! I need to apply at our local Sprint store and get in on this.

If you know the right people, you don't even have to be an employee .. here's a link to the SERO site for more info: http://delivery.sprint.com/m/p/sprin...epclanding.asp

I"m gonna try to get in on that SERO plan and either a Mogul or a Pearl phone. I already know my contract has expired so I'll see what they can/want to do for me.
