I threw a rod last night and im looking for a shortblock LS1 or if possible a 6.0 iron block bottom end.
please let me know. i need it this weekend if possible because i have a three day weekend and id like to get it finished by sunday. have cash in hand

I have an iron 5.3 out of a truck with crank and rods. . . it can be bored to a 5.7 and use stock LS1 pistons.

Everything else that you have will bolt over to this, with no issuses

 

i have a 5.3 block that has already been bored out to a 5.7 and the alternator bracet hole has been drilled and tapped. I also have the crank as well 300.00 takes both of them.

 

6.0 bare block and crank for 450$
with stock main caps

 

www.car-part.com I am sure there will be some listings in your area for a decent price. I got my 6.0 for a little over 500 and it was complete.
