I took the exxon mobile practice test and did well.
I was wondering what else is on the test, not just for exxon mobile
but other plants as well.

I'm sure the job does get boring and times but the pay, benefits, and amount of time off (your work about half the month) outweigh the boredness. This all from what I have read on forums and a couple of people who are currently operators.

advancement opportunities. In a very small facility, sure, the ladder is short.

For the amount of work that we do and the amount of off time we have, operators are generally pretty happy.

I know plenty of people with advanced degrees who don't come close to making what we make.

Okay cool, I was just curious. Seems like there is a lot of down time and I know for people like me that that just doesn't work lol. It definitely seems like a good job for those without advanced degrees, I would definitely be one to look into it! Thanks for the replies!
