I was born and raised in Dallas and now have lived in Houston for almost 3 years. I travel to SA and Austin frequently for work and play and hands down:
HOUSTON TRAFFIC SUCKS!
But to combat this, I live inner loop, my job is 5 mins from my apt, school is 8 mins and all of my friends must live inner loop! The only time I ever see the highways is going to car meets and trips around mexico! HAHAHAHA

San Antonio isn't all that bad. Austin is kinda bad. Houston SUCKS, lol. Never been to DFW to experience it. My friend lives in Deer Park and whenever we would try and head to The Galleria or some place, traffic always gets bad. And it sucks when were in my T/A cause the a/c doesn't work lol. There is a spot on Highway 59 going South where it goes from like 4 lanes to 2. Traffic is always bad there around 5. I'd hate to be caught there with no a/c .

Austin was just never meant to be a "big" city, the highways near downtown simply suck ***. What is with the exits in the MIDDLE of the freeway, instead of on the outside lanes (which look like exits themselves)

Houston. I think there's only one road in that town, and everyone's always on it.
At least in DFW you have a grid to choose from.
Been on I35 in Austin during rush hour, that sucks, but never done much of it. Only been to SA once or twice.
Waco rush minute kinda sucks. Sometimes I have to yield at a certain right turn!
