********68 GTO cage install pics********
Don't really ever post pics of cars we work on but figured the older crowd may appreciate this!! Was an honor working on something different for a change. Do allot of different cages on everyday cars but this was a good change for sure!
Def. would NOT have put a cage in this car if it was mine, but its his choice and money for me so for sure not going to turn it down!
A little history:
Owner has had the car since he was in high school, which has been a good while. Car is almost restored with fresh paint, new 400 ci Pontiac with a little motor work done. Interior is next on his list and maybe wheels. Cage wise, I put quite a few bends in there to clear his feet for the high/low beam switch on the floor, and bends in the rear to have more head clearance for those who ride in the back. He requested to not have the horizontal bar welded in for more room to get in the back seat.
I have had a good amount of people stop by the shop with cash in hand but he doesn't plan on selling it for a good while.
Don't mind the tire shine
Hope you guys enjoy!

Good looking car. Rollbar for looks? With fixed sidebars? I give it 6 months and he'll pull it out - or at least make the sidebars removable. Gets old climbing over those things.

Nice car indeed!
Currently I have a '66 GTO that we are knocking allot of bugs off of. Very, very clean award winning show car. Also, had a '69 Cougar Vert dropped off this a.m., laundry list of stuff to do to it. I'll get some pics of them up here in the next day or so.
It's always fun to handle some old hardware from time to time IMHO. I love it, but hey.. I' an old guy, what do I know anyways?
Keep up the good work guys!
