damn texas wind (rant) [rant] Just like an hour or so ago my basketball goal fell on my car, luckly the way i parked my car it only fell on my hood and both front panals of my car. I no for a fact that im going to have to get the drivers side repainted and the passenger side buffed or something. The hood is also bent to hell, one side is taller than the other, and on the passenger side the very tip of the hood is rubbing against the panel, and on top of all of this **** i have liability only inurence, so this either has to stay as is or come out of my pocket 
I will get pics later so yall can determain what i need to get fixed and wat i can buff out, but if it comes down to repainting,which i am shure i need to do, what place should I take it to? I dont really trust anyone with my car at all. I heard alot of horror storys about shops beating the hell out of our cars, so i want to stay far away from thoes kind of places. Thanks for hearing me out

i talked to my dad about it and he said that we could prabably buff out most of the paint damage but we cant really do anything about the hood. The only thing that we can do is recenter the hood so it looks okay but im going to replace that hood with a ss hood once I get the money

yikes! mine isn't nearly as bad of a story, but whenever i wake up to hearing wind on a trash day i think noooo! Then I have to make a judgment call - is it really that important to me that i sprint outside in my boxers to chase down my trash can? naaaahhh...

here's the question i have:
what kind of basketball goal do you have that gets blown over in the wind? if it's mounted into the ground (properly), it shouldn't be going anywhere. even if it's one of those types that sits on top of the ground on a base, you should have the base filled with sand or water to weigh it down to keep things like this from happening.......
