Default If it wasnt for bad luck I wouldnt have any at all!!!

Got up this morning for work and headed out. On the way, about 3 lights from my house, I noticed the temp gauge starting to climb so I pulled over in a parking lot. Popped the hood and neither my electric water pump nor my fans were running. Limped it back home, called in to work, and started checking the car over. Somehow I managed to get a short in the wiring for both, burned up a fairly large section of the harness, and melted part of the fuse box. So now I just need to get to the parts store and pick up some connectors and wire and rebuild the harnesses for both and hope it doesnt happen again. Sucks to be missing work, but I hate working Saturdays. Oh well, dont sharing, back to work on the pos I go!!!

I built a new harness for the fans so shouldnt have any problems from them. I ran out of time today though, plus got too hot and had to come in and rest. Tomorrows project is to replace the electric water pump with a mechanical pump and to replace the dieing opti. I replaced the plugs and wires(Accel 300+ wires and Bosch platinum plugs, have delteq coilpack conversion) while I was out there today, so once the opti is replaced then it should run alot better than it has been.

On a worse note, changed out the opti and water pump this afternoon. Went to fire it up, but no fire, fuel only. Guess I got a bad opti, at least with my old one it would start and run. So gotta take tomorrow off too and tear it back down and pull the opti again and get another new one.....errr I hate this car!!!
