first thing first-- bring it to Houston (HPE) and we can get you started!! We're doing some pretty amazing things with GTO's here lately... Just give me a call at the shop if you have any questions.
Thanks,

As of now my t/a was faster but this car is seriously quick stock. It will be faster than the t/a was eventually. I like the fact that its an ls2 and its really a sleeper looking car and it rides a hell of alot smoother. I like them both equally.

Exhaust and tune out the horrible torque management!! I see people throw all kinds of bolt ons at these cars and never get a tune.

GTO is a better quality car by far over the T/A. My Fiancee just pick up a very nice 04, silver as well. My only complaint is the crappy radio and lack of gauges.

She says its a turd because it runs a 9.5 at 75mph and my ta runs 8.0 @ 90

Headers, exhaust, and the usual bolt ons. The 05/06 GTO are a nice platform. Sucks that you guys cant fit **** for a tire in the rear.

nice car indeed. do rear springs or dags first and foremost as they will be sagging very bad real soon. after that do cam, l/t headers, exhaust, and tune. heads maybe later as you should get nicely over 400rw with that. f/i is always an option too depening on what you want. you definitely need to keep an eye on tire wear as the suspension is soft and really needs to be tightened up with good bushings and such. ls2gto.com is a good source for info.
