The In-laws are in town any places to sight see??? My girlfriends family are in town for a couple of days and they want to go sight seeing today. Any good places or recomendations?? We also have kids with us. I really dont know where to go.

Besides what has been listed this is what I came up with.
Nasa, San Jac Monument, Battleship TX, the Elissa, Moody Gardens, The historic homes in Galveston like the Bishops' Palace and Moody Mansion, the beach, the ferry from Galveston to Boliver.
Haven't lived down there since 95 though.

my mother in law stayed with me for 6 months, no problem tho she only speaks polish so i never knew what the hell she was saying. put her back on a plane 2 months ago so prob wont see her for another 10 years
