Default 1967 Chevelle on an asphalt airstrip

1967 Chevelle it belongs to Buddy Mcafee. It as a 565 alum. Donavan with Wilson manifold and 105 mm throttle body with ATI F3R Procharger. Lenco 4 speed and Hays Mountain Motor three disc clutch. Car has been back halfed and the front frame horns have been replaced with tube to make room for the massive radiator.

This was in Vernon Tx on a 2 lane Asphalt airstip, water burnout!

Definately not something I would want to be powering down a pitch black 2 lane airstrip. But one badass car though.

I remember this car from my hometown track. I can remember that car from over 6 years ago (it was just a 502 and basic procharger then). I have some videos of it doing 9 flats. He drove it around Odessa quite a bit I remember that.

Very nice. The seconds video was much better. Car is awesome. 8.61 is badass for a street car.

Buddy is an extremely nice guy if anyone ever has the chance to talk to him. There are vids all over youtube, streetfire, ect. of this car. On a side note, this car will be at the West Texas True 10.5/ Outlaw Pro Street race in Midland, TX this weekend.

2nd race in, it was set on kill (Dark Video).

Im sure it has gotten faster since i would love to come out to midland and see that race. I asked him about it in Vernon and he said He is ready and waiting. He is the only guy i know that will drive from odessa to ft. worth or Elk city Oklahoma for that matter in one day just to race and then head back afterwards
