Well ladys and gent, looks like we might have another hurricane coming our war. Hurrican Gustav is currently south of cuba right now, and is projected to move into the gulf on sunday, where it goes from there, not too sure yet, Looks like a Louisiana or Texas landfall.

seems like texans freak over anything trop storm or higher huh? in FL we don't bother waking up unless it's a 3 or higher haha.

Although i do admit its cool to get some tornados in north texas every now and again, though i have yet to see one...Sounds like it could be fun though

i honestly had a blast durring huricanes back home. last one i took my wave runner out and went right down US1 for about an hour. for those who don't know, US1 is the major highway down there. the only highway for 90 miles where i was living.

well they are estamating it to be a cat3 by the time it hits the gulf so it could possibly be a big bastard.

Yeah I just got an email from my parents that are in the Grand Caymans for 10 days, saying they may get there trip cut short and come home on thursday. SUCKS

Im kinda thinking it may take a louisiana landfall...if it does..katrina all over again...

Update: i checked on it this morning and it was downgraded over night to a tropical storm. But they are expexting it to get back out into open waters and intensify. It should be in the gulf late sat eary sun.

Good idea.....It'll be just like floating the river!!! The last time it flooded here we took the jetskis out and cruised around the neighborhood. Its been a while since it has flooded bad tho.
