I laughed when Lou Holtz predicted on one of the CFB shows on ESPN that Notre Dame would win 11 games this year. I want some of what he's hittin, lol.

Lou is pretty biased with that opinion, obviously, and I think partly trying to encourage the Irish faithfull, of which he is a big part still, but next season the Irish will win 10 games and play in a New Years Day game.

TexZ, it's football season and all in fun man. I'm no more of a "UT nutswinger" than any of the Aggie fans on here are A&M nutswingers, lol.

Flaith, you actually admit to posting on Texags?? Wow, those are the most unrealistic, delusional people on the planet. Yeah, this is a car website, but there are some fairly knowledgable guys on here who follow CFB closely. We just happen to be at the opposite of the spectrum on who we like, lol.

TexZ's a friend of mine.

I wouldn't bring mention nut swinging around him too much... he might get a little anxious.

I stay far far FAR away from the Football board and rarely post on Rivalries... those guys are just for entertainment.

TTU is an up and coming star and has clearly surpased A&M as the second best team in the state. So, maybe UT should ditch the A&M rivalry in search for better competition. Ok, there will always be the red-river-shoot-out, but you have to have at least ONE in state rival. A&M is clearly a win, Tech is clearly a threat to be taken seriously. (hell, look at the past two years.)

WE DID DO THIS... the team is OU

Search for it sweet pants. Two seasons ago (2006) I said they'd play in a BCS bowl, and they did. 2007 I said they would be terrible but give them 2 more seasons (2009 season) and they would again play in a BCS bowl. So far I've been right on with my predictions, and they go well beyond the status of ND.

LOL, UT is stuck playing second fiddle in the Big XII, much less the national stage. Colt McCoy definately won't lead the Longhorns to a national championship. No way no how.

I'm almost tempted to spend some time reading this Texasfags forum. Link?

Any Aggie who expected Sherman to correct the problems there in CS in 9 months is dilusional. Sherman will return the team to respectability and could win a few big games in the years to come, and he could even develop some nice NFL talent but they have a LONG road to travel to be a national powerhouse.
