I'm hoping Austin doesn't get a drop like the last 5 hurricanes. Hoping, but not expecting.

Ok... first off I hope that everyone in Texas isn't majorly affected by Ike. A hurricane is a shitty situation especially when flooding is involved.I dont wish that on anyone. But I mean seriously guys WTF wishing this **** would hit N.O.??? and these comments about burn New Orleans? What in the **** is wrong with you? People live in that place and have for there entire lives, have businesses there, everything they know is there. New Orleans contrary to what you believe is a very beautiful place in its own way... As is a lot of south Louisiana. Granted you may have aquired some unwanted visitors, but so have alot of people. I mean baton rouge, ****, I dont think it will ever be the same. But dont take that **** out on an entire city, that is just ignorant. Basically, sorry for the rant... just think before you speak/type.

The new forecast track has it rolling right over me. Perfect! I'll be stuck out at work from tomorrow until the next shift can come back in and relieve us, whenever that is. What a great time this is gonna be. Thanks Ike!

I think a lot of houstonians got rubbed the wrong way when a major hurricane rolled through NO, people came to houston with their "relief checks" and were all over the news talking about how they used their money to buy purses, shoes, clothes, yet then continued to complain about how they were the victim and no one cared about them

Oh yeah and the murder rate in Houston increased by 25%.....and yes i know that is not everyone, but like the say goes....one bad apple......

No i dont wish any bad on anyone but i sure dont want to see them come back to houston.

In 2001, Turner's long-awaited autobiography, Takin' Back My Name (ISBN 1-85227-850-1), was published. In Tina Turner's 1986 autobiography, I, Tina, later filmed as What's Love Got to Do with It?, Tina accused Ike of violent spousal abuse, which Ike repeatedly denied for many years. However, in his 2001 autobiography Ike admitted, "Sure, I've slapped Tina... There have been times when I punched her to the ground without thinking. But I have never beat her."
