Default Any Smog Techs oh here?

Well the reason im asking is because i would like to find out the process to be smog tech in the state of Texas. I was gonna go for my license out here in cali but then i ended up moving out here. So i would like to find out if anyone has a smog license and where they went o go get it, like a school, or what classes did they take, and also how easy or hard it is to get one. Thanks.

Look it up. Give them a call and they can point you in the right direction. I know here in Harris county its a 2 day class and a written test along with a practical walk around.

No exactly. You have to purchase a shop license. I am not sure what is involved with that.

smog business? the class is 2 days, about 5 hours each day. Its easy as hell. most state inspections are just obdII which just hooks up to the dlc.

39.75. machine costs alot of money. I dont think you will get rich just doing inspections. If you do repairs as well you can make a living.
