Default Anyone Have/Seen This Aluminum Jack?

I have been looking for an aluminum racing jack and found this new one:

Think it is any better than the harbor freight ones? It is a little heavier that the others, but if it is stronger, it may be worth it.

I personally will not buy another jack made in China or Taiwan,or any other low rent manufacturing country for that matter. The quality is poor and you always get what you pay for.

I wouldn't buy a craftsman jack either. Mine sucks and a friend with the same jack has the same opinion. They take approximately 100 pumps to get the car an inch of the ground and are heavy as hell. Now the aluminum one might not be as bad, but I'd look elsewhere.

I'm going to be in the market for one of these too. What would you recommend?

I picked up one of the harbor freight racing jacks for $200. I love it, best jack I've ever used. It only takes 6 or 7 full pumps to get the car full height, it is harder to pump, but its much better than sitting with a shitty jack pumping it for 2 min trying to get the car off the ground.

I ordered this jack last night. It should be here in a week. I'll let everyone know how it works out.

I was at a Harbor Freight store and I don't think it's as good as the Craftsman jack. JMO

I've got a Craftsman jack and its going on 35 years of continuous service now with not one rebuild. Just this past year did it start to develop a small leak. I would say thats pretty darn good, but then again it wasn't made in China

I remember seeing a nice looking "race-type" jack that seemed to have a real low profile. Is that the harbor freight jack you have?

I just lowered my car and now I can't get my craftsman jack anywhere under the front or side of the car. Who out there has a lowered vehicle and what jack do you use to get under it?

Drive/push it onto a 2x4, then the jack should slide under.
