What tool for the job?
Will Tims Tool work for dual valve springs, or is there a better one on the market. I've got a .595/.598 cam installed, now I need something strong enough to compress the dual springs. Any help?

I used the old screw down type on the easy ones. Like 12 bucks at the part store. Then cut off a lever type and used a waterpump bolt to compress the rear ones, kinda a PITA but it works and it's cheap.

I've got both of those, but I can't seem to get the inner spring to compress correctly to get the locks out, or in for that matter. Maybe I'm just being a lil bitch about it LOL!!

I have used the Tims on about half a dozen occasions with great success. However, that being said, I think my stud is about worn out. I will either be buying another stud or upgrading to the Crane style tool, which looks very nice but is pricey.

and the Vinci hi performance is on sale for $79.99
I just used it to change my patriot extreme springs and it is a God send. probably the best $95 shipped Ive spent this year.
it takes about 15-20 minutes to do a pair. whole job takes about 2 hours, does not require an air compressor, and, does not require CUSSING

I used the lever type and it sucked.
