Yard remodel with new tool ! Grabbed this used car lift and installed it under my car port.

Crete Where the towers are, it's about 8 > 10 inches thick of 4000psi. Prolly a lil overkill but at least I know it won't go anywhere.
Specs from Mohawk say at least 4 1/2 inches of 4000 psi for a 10,000 cap lift.

First time up ! I put my Silverado up in the air first, and YES, I was Nervous ! I figured I might as well go for it and put the heaviest thing I have on it .
Then re torqued the lag bolts and all seems good.
One good thing about the climate here, not too cold in the winter. However Summer is Hot n Humid like the tropics ! That's why I went with just a car port and not an enclosed building. + it's pretty shaded in the back yard so that will help.

How much did you pay for that used lift? I'm trying to build a garage and put a lift in it. New 2-post lifts run about $1,400-1,600 so I'm curious if used ones sell pretty cheap.

A new 2 post for 1400 > 1800, get what you pay for. But for a budget setup, to each is own.
This Mowhawk is about 5 K new, but it's built like a ton of bricks. + it has only 1 fluid line across the top. No cables or such from tower to tower.
In 07 I grabbed a used Nausbaum 2 post while I was up in Kansas. Got it for $ 1100 .
It worked ok but this Mowhawk has it beat hands down.
Keep an eye on craigslist, U never know .
