Default check compression gauge accuracy

one way to check compression gauge accuracy is I have a new air compressor so it's probily good (a craftsman too), just hook gauge into compressor with hose adaptors and compare with compr. reading.

Not really.

Compressor gages are not any more accurate that the one you are testing. Best way is to find someone who works in a NIST certified calibration lab and get it calibrated there.

Ha ha
I supervise techs in an air national guard base cal lab. We can cal just about anything. BTW the snapon suitcase size testers stink for accuracy and repeatability.

Dwyer gages are best value. They are rock solid reliable and very affordable. We calibrate these at work and last for years even with abuse.
