Default Martha Stuart meets Bob Villa

In the press, they say Martha will acquire Bob. I suspect Bob will dominate the merged company's management, however.

I look forward to buying my Craftsmutt torque wrenches from K-Mart and my wife's pink things from Sears.

I really prefer WalMart for all my needs but none is located in my area (Weschester NY). The local merchants don;t want Walmart since they tend to drive others out of business. Considering their low prices and excellent merchandise selection, I can see why.

WalMart carries Stanley tools - a good'oll American company that now manufactures its tools in China. I suspect, most remaining tool companies wil be doing the same very soon.

I think the China stuff is very good and compares favorably to the Craftsmutt stuff. Others here dissagree a bunch, however. So I think it is one's opinion. Hey, if Walmart sells 5 to 1 over Sears and K-Mart I can't be the only one who says they can't be wrong.

Bob Villa is in women's prison?

I never liked that bitch anyway. Always posing in front
of other peoples' work.

If you want good tools cheap, go to the pawn shops
and pick through the bin for Snap-On or Craftsman or
whatever brand you happen to fancy.

Good advice; I live in NY where there are vertually no pawn shops, however. Apparently, the cops think they promote thefts by allowing people to convert stolen goods into cash.

If Bob is in a Women's prision for insider trading in Bio stocks he is somewhat lucky; lots of tail I suppose... I really could not say for sure, however..

I live in Westchester NY and this county SUCKS!!! for every thing, from major traffic everywhere, construction everywhere, high fuel prices, no local places like walmart, except there's one opening in white plains where the old sears used to be before they moved to the Galleria mall.

People park in the fire zone or on the side of the street clearly obstructing or interfering the path of traffic, there's alot of road rage and you have to be aggressive otherwise they'll all cut ya off and tailgate the **** out of you.

All the cops here treat you like a criminal.

Try finding me a machine shop or a drag strip close by, or a good reputable engine shop builder which doesn't take over 3 months to overhaul or rebuild a frickin SBC V8!

Yeh, I know. The average pay and housing appreciation is really high here in Weschester NY, however. So ....buy a house (appreciation has been 20% per year for 5 years), endure in a good job for a few years and then sell your overpriced house and move to one of those red states....

You forgot to mention the emmisions change. Last year they retroactively changed emmissions for older vehicles. Now ANY mods are vertually certain to fail the sniffer test.

Cash out and flee, is my advice. Leave them your
tired, your poor and your huddled masses yearning
to mind other peoples' business and spend other
peoples' money.

Pretty funny how the conservative states got painted
"red", when the "blue" pockets are the residual nests of
socialism. But now we're drifting to the political....

The mortage payment is gonna be a killer if I buy a house now, I hate the quailty of life conidtions here while commuting to college in Queens, NY in rush hour traffic for almost 4 years now.

It's gonna get worse here, more construciton and traffic and too many cars on the road and overpopulation in a few years.

Lucky I only have one more semester of college left and I except to move out in may/june and get a job out of NY.

I didn't have any problems with my mods and emission last year, I think mine is due for a reinspection in janurary.
